Danielle LaPlante, LCMHC
As your counselor I want to provide the space for us to work together in identifying the root of your struggles, worries, and fears. I believe that the therapist-client relationship is a mutually exclusive relationship; where you are free to open up and explore reasons for change, and I am there to offer insight and impartial support. Whether change evokes a better version of yourself, or whether change creates a new path you are willing to explore, I want to be the person that helps you create that confidence to get there.
I have been working in the mental health field since 2012 and have worked in a variety of settings and with a wide range of ages. My diverse experience includes; adult day programs, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, county jails, and elementary schools. I have been able to learn so much from my clients, their needs, and their goals. My training and specializations focus on those impacted by trauma, anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, bereavement, and overall adjustment issues.
Whether you are struggling within a relationship, a career path or job, divorce or separation, traumatic event, or mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, I want you to feel secure in the fact that I am able to provide you a safe, calm, and neutral environment to explore and manage your symptoms. Together, we will work on management techniques so that you can create a meaningful and purposeful life.
